I love helping people feel beautiful. I believe the final photo is a version of a person's true self and how I imagine them to be–a melding of subjective and objective identity, mixing to create a timeless and authentic photo. This requires taking more time to listen and connect with my subjects.
My style is something I allow to be fluid. I love experimenting and figuring out how to execute out-of-the-box ideas. I prefer subdued earth tones for my outdoor photography, but my photos are a collaboration between me and my clients, and I like to stretch my wings in other directions as well. I use the studio as a place to have fun and execute experimental ideas.
Instead of providing an overwhelming gallery of edited images, of which you may only enjoy a selection, I take my time editing each photo. This ensures that you benefit from a curated gallery that is a true reflection of exactly what you are looking for. Each of my photo packages incorporates light retouching, which includes whitening teeth, smoothing hair and skin, and background cleanup if necessary.

My heart lies in creative portraiture, but I also do headshots, graduation/senior photos, maternity, boudoir, family, couples/engagement, brand and product photography. I take events including weddings on a case by case basis.

How much does a photoshoot cost?
A typical shoot takes 1-2 hours. If you would like more time and need more photos, we can discuss that in the booking process.
How long will the shoot be?
For most photoshoots, I recommend wearing neutral solid colors. If you choose a patterned item, smaller patterns look better on camera. How you will dress will depend on the type of photoshoot, and I am happy to provide guidance in your clothing choices.
What should I wear?
No worries! Most people I work with have never been in front of a camera before. I will help guide your poses as much as I can. You can always practice poses or facial expressions in front of the mirror to understand the result more. I have some videos linked here on more posing advice if you are curious!
I don’t know how to pose, help?!
Under most circumstances, no. Photo editing is a huge part of what photographers do. We spend a good deal of time and money developing an editing style to deliver the best quality photos to you. If you do not like a photographers' editing style, consider booking with a different one!
Can I keep the unedited/raw photos?

Sierra makes things so comfortable for you! I personally would not consider myself a model and it can be so nerve racking! She has such a calm energy and unique eye, you will never be disappointed by her shots and by the end you'll be sad that the shoot is over!
